Institute for Legislative Studies (ILS), University of Ilorin where we provide specialist support in legislative activities as well as mutually agreed areas to help maintain effective and robust legislative practice that is responsive to the yarning of the society and uphold the rule of law.

Our programme is designed to deliver support and training opportunities at National, sub-nation levels. The ILS aims to facilitate practical and professional opportunities for legislatures and other relevant agencies connected with law making in Nigeria. ILS programme strives to design bespoke training projects that transfer legislative studies’ expertise and skills, taking into close consideration the context in which these projects are being delivered so that they’re appropriate for the legislative arm of government.
